The best laid plans of mice and men (The Sequel)

If you missed the first entry regarding my plan, click here. My consultant responded- due to her travel schedule, she could only accommodate Option 3. I have already paid my deposit and just received email confirmations for the three appointments included in the standard Sisterlocks Package.

I am thankful to work with a professional who keeps a calendar. She uses an online booking system, so I can check for openings for re-ties and book them as far out as I like to fit my schedule.

On another note, I went to a local store and purchased a Turbie Twist based off Blaqkofi's recommendation. From what I've read, this product is made from microfiber and will help me to avoid lint.

I really wanted the brown/leopard print I saw online since my hair is a color "2" on the weave color chart. They [Turbie Twist] are touted not so shed; however, if they do, I figured I would fare better with brown colored fluff. The store  had white, various pinks, purple and blue combinations in stock. Blaqkofi featured a picture of herself wearing a white Turbie Twist, so I think I am just being overly cautious.

Although to be really transparent, I don't want to shampoo my locs initially. I want more experienced hands braiding, bundling and keeping me from getting build up.

I purchased a dark purple and magenta combination which was marked $9.99, but they were on sale for 50% off. I was so happy when the clerk said $5.49 I almost bought another set.  Superman says I don't always know how to play it cool. When I mentioned my delight at the half off price, she looked over at the display, which did NOT have a sale sign. Sigh...don't tell him that I almost blew it LOL!

Exercise Friendly Style- Loc Hawk

Yesterday's post retie style just felt too "poofy" so I separated the ponytail into two to ...wait, that was confusing to type...into, two, to...REWIND! I split the ponytail and made two stacked ponytails. What do you think?
