I am not a girly-girl, but I do like my bling! Check out these inexpensive hair accessories I picked up from Amazon!

I picked these particular hair clips/hair jewelry pieces because they seem to be pretty "safe" for my locks. By safe, I mean that if worn minimally, they shouldn't poke any holes in my still juvenile Sisterlocks.
I haven't received the first ornament shown (which I think is my favourite) yet, but of the other three, I have only worn the pearly pronged ornament. It was a hit and I received rave reviews!
So far, they are MUCH bigger than I imagined. (Especially the purple and black ones (same seller/company)...MUCH bigger!) The black one I received looks "old" as if it has been in the bottom of a box somewhere, but you get what you pay for and it's still pretty!
I will be attending a wedding in November and I have a few other events that will require more formal styles. I feel that hair ornaments (or hair candy as I like to call them) add a certain "wow" factor. Stay tuned!
