What does Superman think about my future locs?

First, let me say that Superman has seen me prior to us dating in the following stages of my natural hair journey: 2 month transition, big chop #1, TWA, colored TWA, two strand twists, wigs, micro braids, single strand twists...and those are just the ones I can think of. My point?  He knew what he was getting when I did big chops 2, 3, and 4 and 4.5!

In a nutshell, he trusts me not to look unkempt or unprofessional (as defined by our mutual preference FOR MY HAIR which is against:
  • un-natural coloring
  • poorly maintained weaves/braids
  • dry/damaged/thinning hair
  • bonnets in public (I mean shouldn't we ALL be against bonnets in public???)
  • brown gel
  • weaves that do not blend (e.g. dark 4c hair with blonde 1a weave, etc).
  • the "nub" (e.g. your hair is too short for a ponytail, but you wear one anyway and surround it with several hair scrunchies
He has been complimentary of a woman's hair which was colored HOT PINK, but very well done. He said that if she were say a hair stylist or fashion designer then her hair would go great with such a profession.
He is a veteran "married to a natural" husband and he appreciates the fact that I take pride in my appearance. He also appreciates my factoring his thoughts/concerns. At the end of it all, I want to wear my hair in a way that makes us both happy.

His preference for my loc'd hair is Sisterlocks (TM) due to the versatility, precision parting and uniform size. Generally speaking, regardless of the method used to achieve locs, he prefers "done" looks such as curled styles (lock loops, wrap-a-loc, sponge rollers, pipe cleaners, rods, etc) and updos versus straight/freestyle looks.

His ultimate comment/input on my hair: "Just don't complain about it. And don't be cheap." To expound- he means, don't go get a X dollar hair style I didn't like and then "cry" about how I really wanted the X + $15 hairstyle.

Exercise Friendly Style- Loc Hawk

Yesterday's post retie style just felt too "poofy" so I separated the ponytail into two to ...wait, that was confusing to type...into, two, to...REWIND! I split the ponytail and made two stacked ponytails. What do you think?
